Tanya Pardazi, a Tiktok Star, Died at Age 21 After a Skydiving Accident

Tanya Pardazi was a famous TikTok star who died in a terrible accident this week. Her tragedy was mourned at her funeral and on social networks.

The Canadian influencer, 21 years old and a philosophy student at the University of Toronto, died on August 27 from injuries she got while skydiving. Her parachute opened too late, which hurt her. She was laid to rest at a memorial service on September 2 in Richmond Hill, Ontario.

“What Tanya did in 21 years, I think many people fail to do even in 80 or 90 years,” one of the guests said in a eulogy at the funeral, which was streamed online by the Elgin Mills Funeral Centre. Unfortunately, the National Post couldn’t find out who said the tribute, so they couldn’t give the speaker’s name.

The newspaper said that most of the people at the funeral wore white and sat in front of a white casket as Sarah McLachlan’s “Angel” played in the background while photos from Pardazi’s life were shown.

Later, another speaker read off a list of 18 things the TikTok star said she had learned by her 18th birthday, such as “Don’t take yourself so seriously; nothing matters in the grand scheme of things anyway.”

Her childhood friend Melody Ozgoli told CTV News Toronto on August 31 that Pardazi died when she fell during her first solo dive with Skydive Toronto.

Skydive Toronto said in a statement posted on Facebook on August 29 that on August 27, “a 21-year-old skydiving student died from injuries he got in an emergency.” The company said the skydiver “dropped a main parachute that turned quickly at a low altitude without giving the reserve parachute the time or altitude it needed to open.”

The company said the student “was a welcome recent addition to the skydiving community and will be missed by the student’s new friends and fellow jumpers of Skydive Toronto Inc.” They also said, “The team at Skydive Toronto is currently working with the South Simcoe Police on their investigation.”

In an online statement, the police said they are “looking into what happened after a skydiving accident that killed someone in the Town of Innisfil.” They told us, “A woman was seriously hurt when she jumped out of a plane that was based at a local skydiving club. The police took her to a nearby hospital, where her death was confirmed.”

Ozgoli told Toronto’s CTV News that Pardazi “liked to try out new things and go on adventures. She felt like her life was too dull, so she was always striving to do something exciting.” She also said that her pal “really made the most of every moment. This is the most surprising thing to us. It’s hard to understand. Even though it’s been a few days, we still can’t believe it.”
