6 Most Watched Movie of All Time in US

There’s no question that movies have always been a big part of our lives. Whether we’re watching a classic film on the big screen or taking in a new release, there’s something sure to bring us excitement.

Here are 6 of the most watched movie of all time you love to watch:

1. Titanic (1997)

James Cameron is the director, writer, co-producer, and co-editor of the 1997 romance-disaster film Titanic, which stars Leonardo DiCaprio and Kate Winslet. The film Titanic depicts the tragic maiden voyage of the RMS Titanic through the eyes of two fictional characters: Jack Dawson, a third-class passenger who works as an artist, and Rose DeWitt Bukater, a first-class passenger who is about to marry a wealthy but violent man.

It shows the two passengers from different social classes meeting and falling in love on the Titanic before it sinks after hitting an iceberg.

With an estimated $200 million in costs, Titanic was at the time the most costly movie ever made and also the most watched movie of all time. Paramount Pictures and 20th Century Fox contributed to its financing.

On April 4, 2012, a 3-D adaptation of Titanic was released in theaters to mark the 100th anniversary of the catastrophe event.

2. E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial (1982)

Steven Spielberg produced and directed E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial, an American science fiction movie, which Melissa Mathison wrote. It relates to the tale of Elliott, a little kid who makes friends with an alien named E.T. who is abandoned on Earth.

Elliott needs to figure out a means to assist E.T. in returning home, along with his friends and family. Dee Wallace, Henry Thomas, Peter Coyote, Robert MacNaughton, Drew Barrymore, and Erika Eleniak are among the cast members.

After his parents’ divorce, Spielberg made an imaginary companion who served as the inspiration for the movie’s plot. Spielberg and Mathison connected in 1980, and they used the unfinished script for Night Skies to create a new plot.

The initial draft of the script, titled E.T. and Me, was written by Mathison in less than two months and underwent two revisions.

Columbia Pictures rejected the proposal because they didn’t think it would be profitable. The script was finally bought by Universal Pictures for $1 million. On a $10.5 million budget, filming took place from September through December 1981.

Unlike most movies, E.T. was shot roughly in chronological sequence to help the young cast members provide credible emotional performances. Carlo Rambaldi was the animatronics designer for the movie.

This Film was recognized most watched movie of all time by the Critics and won many global film awards.

The Return of the King, the third volume of J. R. R. The film is The Lord of the Rings trilogy’s last chapter and the follow-up to 2002’s The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers. Although The Return of the King was fully shot and edited in Jackson’s home New Zealand, as with the previous two parts of the trilogy, it was financed and released by the American company New Line Cinema. It had its world premiere on December 1 at Wellington’s Embassy Theatre before getting its theatrical debut on December 17 in the US and December 18 in New Zealand.

Both reviewers and viewers praised the movie, hailing it as a milestone in filmmaking and the fantasy film genre and praising its visual effects, actors, action scenes, directing, narrative, musical score, costume design, and emotional depth.
